Romero Salvaje: Where bacteria become beauty
Romero Salvaje is a Barcelona-born biojewelry and experimental art project, where design, science, and personal reflections on sustainability and creativity collide.
My name is Sandra Romero <yes, that's where the brand name Romero Salvaje -Wild Rosemary- comes from>, and here, I craft unique wearable and nonweareable art using 3D printing and, among other sustainable materials, the amazing PHA: a biodegradable polymer cultivated from bacteria.
Roots & Vision
These same microbial muses are my greatest inspiration, alongside the stunning visual library of micrography. They guide everything, from the materials I use to the aesthetic you see🔬ðŸ¦
So, this is jewelry and art for those who find beauty in the unconventional: For the collectors, the futurists, and the wonderfully weird who believe their style and the art pieces they enjoy should be as forward-thinking as the materials they are made of🖤
